Finished! Wait! There is more?
Hello Blogger! Today, I have pieced together some more of my little shed. If you remember, my father and I were building a porch out of fence wood. The porch was completed and today I finished staining it. It looks good. We have also conjured up a new plan to roof the shed that we porch-ed. It is going to have eight sides coming down from the top. So far, It seems to work; however, I think it might have worked better if we had gone by my first Idea. I will let you be the judge when we finish the project. I'll post some pictures and then post some blueprints of what I think would have worked.
Chapter 8: No Goodbye
No Goodbye
Now that we saw the surface, we had to find a way to the top. I did not find the answer surely enough; however, Viola had something up his sleeve again. I did not want to show my superior wit when in a crunch so I let Viola do the thinking. I sat back pretended to be witless so that Viola would not suspect that I was intelligent. I knew that if I had suppressed the Idea of climbing the rocks located on the eastern corridor that it would lead us to the roof of the cavern. The reason I did not share this piece of information was so that if Viola did not find a way to the top then I would have some control over the group. I was arrogant at the time. I had been pretty much telling Lacky what to do the whole time underground and I did not like to give my authority away. Me and Lacky were friends as far back as I can remember; however, everyone disliked Lacky when we were very little. I had saved Lacky from bullies countless times. I was always the stronger and smarter of the two of us; however, he knew a great deal about the technical things. He always was always a better farmer, villager, and family man than I ever will be. Because of this, I tended to watch over Lacky. I was his sole protector. I felt responsible for his safety. Letting my authority be released to this stranger was a huge blow to my pride; however, I also felt attached to this carefree stranger.“Great, now the hard part. Let’s see.” Viola said. Viola walked around and climbed on top of a rock to get a better vision of the roof of the cavern. He raised his arm to the sky and lifted his sleeve. He pulled out his watch and pressed inward on the watch’s center. After he did this, a mechanical piece or metal plate came out of his watch. It was like it transformed.
“Hey, cool! What is that?” Lacky questioned.
“don’t worry about it kid, don’t tell anyone about what you have seen today ok. Its for your own good—ok?”
“Well—Ok.” Lacky said fanatically.
“Alright, guys come and hold on to me, I am going to get us out of here.” Viola said. We both grabbed on to Viola and held on as Viola raised his arm. When he pressed a button a rope shot out of his sleeve. It was completely encompassing. The rope traveled beyond the surface and stuck its self somewhere; securing itself, the rope was able to provide the tension we needed. Viola gave the rope a good tug before he pressed another button on his watch with his right arm. Before we knew it we were traveling up the rope. The micro gadget that Viola had used had some sort of micro technology which made it capable of outputting several horsepower. The little watch had more power than a mule. The watch was an electronic watch that could channel energy through the sun and store energy deep inside its core. The most impressive quality of the watch however was its ability to duplicate and magnify energy. It could take a few watts that the sun provided and multiply it, making the watch a multi telecommunication/transmitting/pulley/weapon that no average person had. These watches are like commodities for those who are in the KOTL. The watch reeled in the three wary travelers and the surface was visible from that point on.
“Aw, thank the gods.” Lacky said.
“Yea don’t mention it kid.” Viola said with a cocky smile that was easily tucked away in his hat. The tone of voice and sarcasm that Viola carried around was of a somewhat dispositional frequency. Any time that Lacky would resort to thanking the Gods, Viola would find a way to express his own pessimistic opinion of the Gods.
From the looks of the landscape, I thought we were probably 2 days walk away from Rabboth Top. It was a plane, the earth was very black, as there was an old active volcano that had been located a little bit east of here. Fleace has only one active volcano, Mt. Zenthia, which is located on the northern most area of the archipelago. This other inactive volcano had already made the area rich with nutrients. The grass had a bright color of green which radiated from the earth.
“I think we should set up camp and leave tomorrow.” Viola said. Being underground threw off our sleep cycle. We were already tired and thought it would be best to go to sleep. We set up camp and waited for whatever hardships awaited us while our new mysterious friend went off to collect food or whatever was edible.
Viola went well beyond the perimeter of the camp. He was far ahead of where we set up camp. Lurking around the area, there was little or nothing edible that caught Viola’s eyes. Before he actually went hunting there was something that he had to do alone. He went far into the brush and lifted his sleeve. He was contacting HQ to let them know of the possible Casrillian threat and to have them run the blood test to see if he was the last of the air nomads. He also wanted to tell them that he was not the prophesized one. He did not bear the mark of the sun and earth. “This is K4 reporting, I have come in contact with a boy who might be one of the last nomads. He is not the One; also there are some serious disturbances in this town. I might have come into contact with a Casrillian. I noticed the Casrillian seal or symbol within their cavern. I wish to run DNA test, I am sending the blood work over.” Viola reported. After a few minutes, a voice came forth out of Viola’s watch.
“Copy that, DNA test positive. He is a match of the last Air Nomad that we had on file, we need you send the info on his family location, we need to evacuate the other members. Over,”
“This is K4, we have a no go on the location of Nomad whereabouts. He says that his parents were killed by the lung disease when they came over to Rabboth Top some 13 years ago.” Viola said. He was lying, he knew that he had to evacuate Hulken to HQ because the KOTL were required to educate and protect any Air Nomads that were left. Because the KOTL put too much of a grip on the lives of the freest type of people, they escaped their supervision because it made them too domestic. The air Nomads were originally the first humans to travel to the surface, discover flight, and travel all of Ithium. The intentions of the KOTL were pure; however, the fact that they had put to much of a grip on the lives of the Nomads made the Nomads want to escape and live in secret. They were successfully able to escape their grip and travel Ithium in disguise. Sooner or later Viola was going to have to escort Hulken to HQ were he would live out the rest of his days.
“Roger k4, We want you to escort the Air Nomad to the shore, from there you will be briefed on what to do. As for the Casrillian threat, we will send in another agent to investigate. Your top priority is to safely escort the Nomad.” The voice coming from Viola’s arm said.
“Over, ending transmission” Viola said. Now that the his mission was almost complete, Viola now had to search for food. He was a good instinctive fighter; however, when it comes to hunting, it takes patience. Sometimes the patience of a warrior is not similar to that of a hunter. When the hunter came out of Viola, it was not pretty. There was a wild hog somewhere in the distance according to what Viola’s instincts were telling him. Unluckily for Viola, he was not anywhere close to correctly guessing the sounds coming from the distance. Viola ventured stealthily and covertly across the dark plain. He did not happen to see what was lying in the bushes across his left. When his mind began to ponder what was type of animal that the sound was something came out. It was not a wild hog, or pig, it was a Wolf who looked hungry. The wolf was flinging around his ferocious hiss as if he was a snake. It came closer and closer to Viola creating a shorter gap between death and life for Viola. Luckily for the beast, Viola had a modern weapon. Viola pulled out his Reaver and swung it around senselessly to warn off the beast. The wolf was not the predator in this match, he was more a less a victim. Few men or animal alike have been able to dodge the deadly bullets or blade of a KOTL’s Reaver. When the wolf came in for a deadly strike, Viola swooped down under the wolf and reached out his arm, killing the beast in one motion. The wolf made a short, horrific, and mortal scream as it took it’s last breath. The beast was slain and Viola was smeared with blood. The blood reached Viola’s coat and the dirt that Viola had received from jumping onto the ground was all mixed together. “Dam, I need to take a bath now.” Viola said to himself as he put his hands on his knees. He pulled himself up and looked at the carcass that lay before him. He knew that whatever the other boys had received, his meal would provide enough for all three of them. Viola put the wolf on top of his shoulder and walked back to where they set up camp, he knew he was going to have to tell Hulken the news about everything. Viola did not know how he would handle it, if he would resist, if he would try to attack him again, the thoughts of his old mentor began to run through his mind.
Meanwhile back at camp, I had found some berries and wild onions. I new that there was enough to make a soup for the two of us so I started to make a fire and just sat waiting for the onions to boil with the water. I also found that the berries made for an excellent source of nutrients. I had little to share between the two of us; however, I thought that Viola could easily handle himself. Right when we finished the meal I had cooked I saw Viola walk in from the horizon. The sun was just falling down. The day was coming to a end and our time to go back to town was finally coming to an end. When Viola came closer towards us I realized that he had caught something. It was a wolf. Trying not to postpone the inevitable, Viola said,” Here is our dinner. I think there is something that you must know. Our meeting was no mere coincidence. I, unlike many before me would not offer you a choice; however, I think it just and honorable for me to offer a choice to you. I cannot however offer the same choice for your friend. After I tell you some of the secrets of my order and the past history which involves you, I will let you decide wither or not you would come with me.”
“What are you talking about.” I said.
“Hey, Lacky. I want you to take this wolf here skin it and place it in the fire. Here is a knife get to it. Hulken come take a walk with me if you wish to learn your true heritage.” Viola said. I went along; I took a walk into the realm of true awakening. I learned why Viola was following me, what he planned on doing with me if I wanted to come with him I could study or adventure with the KOTL. He also told me that he had protected all of my relatives from the KOTL because he did not want them to be forced to go. He also told me that Lacky could not come because he was not of the nomad blood. When he had told me that I had a choice, I replied with a yes. I wanted to get out of Rabboth Top and Viola was my ticket out of this place. I knew that I loved knowledge and Viola offered me a world of new knowledge that would only be seen in a million years. I wanted to explore, see the world, and discover the secrets of Ithium. The technology that Viola used was also something that entranced me. I wanted to blow stuff up the way Viola did, I wanted to hold that funny looking sword that Viola held. When I gave him my reply I had totally forgot about my mother, father, and two sisters that I had left behind in Rabboth Top. Viola said it would be best if they thought I had gone missing or dead because that way no one could find out where you are if you tell them were you are going. I agreed; however, I thought it was something I should have done out of respect. I also wanted leave; however, I wanted their approval. I was not going to say goodbye.
Chapter 7: The Sunlight
The Sunlight
“If he would have just stayed over here the night my boy came warning you that he was being followed, why did you not believe him” Mr. Flintwood said to Mr. Baner.“I am sorry, I don’t know. I thought he was lying to me, he is always looking for adventure. I thought that he was making one up.” Mr. Baner said. There was really nothing they could do at this point, their sons had been missing for seven days and all was lost to them. It did not bring there sons back; however, they came over to each others house each day to get comfort that others were suffering with them. Both Mr. Flintwood and Mr. Baner went about their days with their faces put down because of the guilt for not protecting their sons enough. The productivity as far as farm work was concerned was horrible. It was as if everyone was turning lame with chronic fatigue. They were really depressed. After the Mayor was finally convinced it was necessary to send out a search party, Nosil thrust out his authority and made sure that the search party did not go far. The search party was interrupted by the Mantis squad. Nosil had designed and recruited the Mantis squad from around Ithium. Each one in the seven man squad brought a unique, deadly, and lethal ability to the table. The team cohesion and ability to carry out any mission would have been legendary; however, the team was recently created and their ability was untested. The seven men were recruited from all around Ithium. Some of the recruits were found in either the most remote places or the most urban places Ithium had to offer. Nosil had created the Mantis squad with the sole purpose of defeating the KOTL. Their response time, accuracy, and deadly abilities made them extremely dangerous to the KOTL. Unluckily for the KOTL and the search party sent out to look for the two sons of Rabboth Top, they have never been seen together unless called upon by Nosil. When the mayor decided to send out the search party they had reached as far out of the city as possible before they were hacked down by the seven man squad. The leader of the squad was a man named Horatio Cortez. Horatio has the ability to hack down any opponent and has never lost a battle. He is a true Tigon master of the sword. The Tigon style can only be learned in the most remote artic poles of Ithium. At the artic poles a radiated rainbow colors the surface were they say the student of Tigon has to stare at sky until he can only see the magnetic radiation consume his vision. During this trance which is like the final black belt test, the student becomes the master. The Tigon warrior during this trance fights an opponent who can see the future move the student will make. After the battle is won the student becomes master and can from then forth see any move an opponent could possible make. This style of fighting is passed down from one generation to the next; however, it can only be passed down every 35 years. Being only two masters alive is the work of a Tigon. Horatio cared little for the money or power that Nosil provided. He hacked down every member of the search party; his only concern was to find the ancient artifact that he knew Nosil would lead him to.
In the prevailing time, Voila and the two sons of Rabboth Top look for a way out of the dark, desolate, and harsh caverns.
“hey, why do you have metal boots?” Lacky asked.
“They are just special to me” Viola answered. It was evident that Viola had not turned on the flashlight his boots were equipped with. There was more behind his boots than meet the eye. The boots of any KOTL member have special gadgetry inside of them; however, they are all equipped with the ability to ride the intercontinental rail system. The intercontinental rail system was a transportation system that only the KOTL knew about. The transportation system was mainly used in areas that could not be navigated. Because Fleace was surrounded by water, there would not be a rail system for Viola to use. The rail system was used usually in ancient areas of Ithium where the technology was used. The boots also make it possible for KOTL agents to get to their HQ. Because the KOTL were adamant about not sharing technology to the people of Ithium, Viola was persistent to not use anything that might raise an eyebrow to the boys. The KOTL only shared technology to the least harmful people because it could be useful to them; however, whenever the people of Ithium started to use technology for war, they would make sure they would dispose of the technology without killing anybody. Because of the attitude this unparticular KOTL agent was not ordinary and sort of outlandish; he was more relaxed about everything. Viola had such an experience after he graduated from agent school that it made him extremely different from the rest of his pier agents. Most agents go to extreme lengths to execute everything orderly, scheduled, and perfect. Viola was not afraid of breaking protocol. When he graduated from agent school and was sent on his first mission he was betrayed by one of his partners. This effect on his moral was severe. The worst part of the incident was that he was almost convinced to join in on the plot that his partner had schemed. There is a certain oath that all KOTL members have to say growing up. This oath is as follows:
Before my eyes I shall protect, preserve, and save any knowledge that comes in my way. I shall not use knowledge to power my ambition to do evil; I will not destroy people over technology. I will destroy any evil technology that is in the wrong hands. When the time the black sun prophecy arrives, I shall disband my oath to the KOTL and follow and pledge a new oath to the one who will save Ithium. I shall protect the royal line the Oruscians commanded us to protect. I shall never be let seen with my knowledge or superior technology unless my life or the lives around me are in danger.
This was the Oath that Viola had recited and memorized growing up. The oath was not always the same, It has changed throughout the years; however, it wasn’t until the Great surface war that the KOTL had vowed to ensure that ignorance was supplied across Ithium. Before the war the KOTL was originally called the KOI, Knights of Ithium. There main purpose was to protect the royal bloodline that the Oruscians left behind in case the Casrillians ever ventured to the surface again. Because the technologies the Casrillians and Oruscians left behind when they left the public eye, the peoples of Ithium used the technology to gain power and control over the weak. They eventually almost had all of Ithium destroyed; however, if it was not for the patrons of Younic then Ithium would have gone through a devastating eruption. During the Great Surface War, the City States of Gnosis were devising a machine that would destroy half the planet with sub atomic technology. Their enemy was located on the northern hemisphere of Ithium. Luckily the Patrons of Younic were there in time; however, the machine that the peoples of Gnosis created was sabotaged. The machine wiped out almost everyone’s memory living on the surface of Ithium. The mind wiping machine made men resort to caveman instincts and the world of Ithium was in chaos. Only a handful of people survived with their memories intact; because the technology was still there, the Patrons of Younic advised the destruction of all technology so that man could start over on Ithium. The KOI were still undamaged and took the responsibility, making them the spreaders of ignorance world wide. They changed their name and most of their mission statements. They were the sole protectors of Ithium, yet they were the ones who instilled ignorance within the people. They did not intervene in Ithium’s wars and they did not share with the world their own technology.
Because Viola’s old partner had betrayed the order and yearned for power to destroy, he was cast out of the KOTL. Viola was later sent on a mission to destroy his old partner. Viola’s mission was successful. Viola was sent on the mission because the order believed that Viola could have been inspired or converted by his partner. They assumed that this mission was important to see if his loyalty was still there. After Viola came back from his mission, he did not look the same. He was changed. No longer did he appreciate the organizations mandates or orders. He was becoming more and more independent from the organization; however, he did not rebel because he wanted to change the way the KOTL did things because he always assumed that if got a position of power he could change things.
Something that bothered Viola more than anything was trying to find a way out of the cavern. He knew that he would need to shoot an explosive round in order to get everyone out of the cavern. Unluckily for the KOTL, Viola did not intend to use minimal force. He thought it was appropriate to tell Hulken about why he was here and what he was doing. Unfortunately, he could only explain things to Hulken if the blood test were positive. He had to reach the surface. “alright, kids watch your head, I think this is the spot” Viola said.
“What are you talking about” I replied.
“Just stand back, if my calculations are correct, I believe the surface is right above us” Viola said.
“What do you plan on doing; there is a huge chunk of earth separating us from the surface.”
“Wait and see, just stand back.”
“Boom!” The sound of the cavern exploding was quickly over as the tremor preoccupied my concern. I was distraught, amazed, confused, and most of all bedazzled by the blast. The flames were wild, the rock shattering in all different directions, and the furious speed of it all was consuming my eyes. The whole event happened in a flash. It was truly wordless, awesome, incredible, and powerful. I now realized that this man was not a farmer and that my plot in had to more than coincidence. I wanted answers to the many questions that were filling my head. I wanted the knowledge or the magic that I thought this man possessed. The earth that had laid above us came rushing down, scattering pieces of rock all over the area. I rushed out of the way frantically. I dodged and ducked while glancing at the roof of the cavern. It was pure sunlight. I saw the first real sunlight in week. It was not too blinding; however, when I looked straight up the sun was directly parallel with us and the sun hit my eyes with a penetrating array of light. I turned away from the brightness and checked to see if everyone else was alright. I did not want to express my emotion at the time, knowing that Viola could use my emotion to his advantage. I just glared as if it was something natural. On the other hand, Lacky was dumbfounded. He looked around the roof of the cavern with his eyes wide open. He did not even blink while the rocks were falling right beside him. Viola just calmly strutted around the two of us as if he was the man in charge. I hated the authority that Viola had over us; however, I was drawn to Viola. I felt like he was my ticket out of this town. I felt that I needed to be with this man in order to find the missing link I had with always had growing up in a place like this. I also looked up to the attitude Viola had about everything. It was rouge, tough, rebellious, new, and most of all it made me feel free when I was around Viola. The one thing that truly attached me to this man was that he had bested my defense; I believe that submission is something that is earned. I did not realize it then; however, my first real adventure had truly begun when I meet Viola…
Chapter 6: Operation Tango
Operation Tango
The eye patched, black caped man walked down the stairs into the control room. This room was where he planned to execute operation Tango. “Everything seems to be in order sir,” Mr. Brinard said. “the GF1s and GF3s are in position” Lt. Rhonald Grondia said. Lt. Grondia was an old war veteran who had been reduced to a mercenary because of the peace that Ithium was undergoing. Because of his impeccable war record, Nosil had him selected to carry out his sinister plans. Almost all of Nosil’s henchmen did not know of Nosil’s history or background only that he paid very, very well. The Ground Force 1st class soldiers were ready and capable to lead this operation. Although they did not know what hardships lay ahead, they respected and believed in the Lt. because he had always lead them to safety or victory in the past. “Sir, permission to make a statement?” GF1 Brown said. “Speak!” the Lt. said.
“It’s just that, that, I don’t know about this sir. There is something strange about this whole thing. I don’t know why Nosil has hired us out. This whole thing seems wrong.”
“yes Brown. I know things might seem out there but I assure you that everything will be in order when Nosil gives the command. Leave the questions to me, do your duties without question, for that is the bliss of every soldier.” Lt Grondia said.
“Yes, sir!" Now that things were settled out between the ranks, the leaders of operation tango went through a simulation of the operation to ensure success. “First, I would like for the Lt. and his men to set off the switch located in sector alpha. After that, I want Mr. Brinard to rendezvous with the Lt. and demolish the last entrance on the outer banks area. All the while this is happening; make sure the outer defensives are weakened. Mr. Launy will supply the troops on the surface when the first flag is raised. Make sure none of your men make contact with the Mantis squad. They will be positioned on the surface outside the first wall during the raising of flag number one.” Nosil Said. After this briefing took place, all of the leaders steadily walked out of the room, except for Mr. Launy, for he was not there. Rather, Nosil ensured that he was informed without the extent of knowledge that the other leaders had. Little did Mr. Launy know that the whole town of Rabboth Top was going to be attacked. If one were to tell him that Fleace or Ithium was going to war, he would have wished to have been elected. Meanwhile back in the cavern…
“I’ll say these walls are too dusty for my taste” Viola said to himself as he was stumbling down the dark corridor in what he thought was a way out. “I know that this town has to be under the control of the Casrillians, those bastards want to start another war.” Viola suggested as he started climbing one sector of the corridor. Little did Viola know that his enemy knew more of him than he thought they knew. “If I only had a map” Viola said. Because Viola is a agent for the KOTL, he knows how to track others and the task of finding a way out of the cavern was simple in theory; however, the light radiating from Viola’s boots was synthetic light, which made the natural light darken whenever he tried to find the lightest light. The reason behind this was that the stone the cavern was made up of was extracted and created for the purpose to enhance sunlight.
It has been a week since we have seen the surface. Now that are hunger has consumed the majority of our conversations, we search for a way out less so than we search for food. Surprisingly there is much undergrowth in the caverns and many edible insects and plants that we have consumed while underground. “Damn, when will we get out of here” Lacky said.
“If there was a rope, maybe we could climb to the surface from the crystal room; but, no! We had to continue until we found an entrance with stairs. Thanks Lacky!” I retorted. Having lost or way to the crystal room, we were stranded underground without a possible clue to where the surface might be. The Cavern had many tunnels and corridors; the Cavern consisted of modern, old, and ancient areas. Navigating the tunnels is extremely hard because light finds its way in the most random places. Some corridors are lighted by magma, some by the surface, and some by stone. After being in the caverns for a whole week, Lacky became very irritable and told me that the adventure life was not for him. He said that he would rather read about adventures and hear about them instead of experience them. I always told him that there is no other way to live unless one goes to new peaks, plateaus, or lands. As the week stretched on and our hunger became evident as it was reflected in our completion and physique, I did not boast about the adventure life as much. “According to my instinct, I think we should go back the way we came” Lacky said.
“I think it is too late for that, plus, I have never been this far” I said. In the middle of our petty conversation that was regularly argued throughout the course of the day, I heard something behind us. “Shh, shut up. Something or someone is following us” I whispered.
“Ok, we should turn our selves in, maybe they have food” Lacky said.
“hold it Lacky, they could but lets wait and see, we shall remain here in silence until they walk by so that I may see what there purpose is” I whispered impatiently as Lacky was always the one who resorted to surrender. We ducked our shadows in the blackness beyond the corridor. We were well camouflaged behind a rock that was geometrically offset from the rest of the corridor, making it easily concealing. When the steps of the person following us became louder and louder, I started to quell my breathing knowing that if I was anxious I would attract our assailer. When the shadow of the man stepped into the area that I had assumed he would, I jumped out with my half made sword pointing at his throat. “What do you want? Why are you following us?” I exclaimed without exasperating my calm.
“Well--“the voice said. When I thought I had him, all of the sudden, “Clink!” the sound of his blade rushed against mine with a quickness I had underestimated. I knew that my sword was incomplete; however, I also knew that the assailant did not know it either. I decided to go into a defensive stance. I curved my sword so that his attack would not penetrate through my defensive circle or area of comfort. The sound of unsuccessful attacks “Swoosh! Bang! Clink!” made the mysterious man change his position while the cavern soaked up the sound which it had never heard in years since no one ever lived in there or ever battled there. The sound of swords clashing together was like an orchestra to my ears. Somehow it sounded like a song that I knew. Because I had not eaten in a while my endurance was reduced by the second advance the mysterious man made on me. With a few maneuvers I had never seen, my fatigue, and my hunger, the mysterious man had switched the tides of battle. I was now the one being asked the questions; however, because of the fact I had defended myself and walked backward, the mysterious man was standing in some light. I knew I had seen him before somewhere. “Take off your shirt, trust me, I will not hurt you if you do what I say.” the man said. I did as he said, but I laid down my weapon first. “Good, now turn around” the man said again. I was thinking that this man was going to do something unthinkable; however, if he had tried I would pray that Lacky would reveal himself and help me out while he became distracted. “Alright, guess your not the one kid” the man said.
“What have I done, what do you mean, I am not the one, which one?” I said. I did not receive an answer; however, I did receive a prickle feeling on my back. “Sorry this will hurt a little bit; I am just getting a blood test kid. Alright--all done, put your shirt back on.” the man said again.
“Blood test—what is that? Why did you look at my back? Who are You?”
“You can tell your friend to come out know”
“Hey, what are you doing to my friend” Lacky said.
“Don’t worry I am on your guys side. My name is Viola and I am here to scout the two of you out, your parents are looking for you. I think it be best if the both of you follow me out of the cavern” Viola said.
“How can we trust you?” I said. Viola eased his sword down and said, “you just can’t; however, if you are hungry and are looking for a way out of here I think I can help you” he said.
“That’s convincing enough for me” Lacky said.
“Since you bested me in the sword, I am in your service until I can beat you” I said. Although I did not want to truly serve this man, I wanted to learn the style of fighting he had used on me; I would take full advantage of his strengths and skills. I also did not tell him that he was the man I saw at ole Baily’s Inn the day I went to town on my own.
Meanwhile back at Nosil’s hideout, men in hooded, green clothes walked furiously while the execution of operation of tango rest solely on their performance tonight. Tonight was the night that they made sure the equipment was fully operational; they ran a test run. The gadgetry looked as if something Rabboth Top had only dreamed about. It was ancient, old, yet fresh with wires and metal. The equipment was an ion transformer that controlled hydrogen and oxygen nucleuses. When Nosil lifted his hand, signaling his ok, the green clothed men lifted the leaver on a table with other switches and controls. After the leaver was pulled a short tremor shook the room. It was misty in the window adjacent to the control box. The water quickly began to take shape, giving birth to the beast. This seemingly supernatural process which seemed to daze even Nosil was a great success for the operation. The beasts were made to attack the villagers of Rabboth Top. “now that it has appeared, I want you too put some livestock in there” Nosil said.
“Yes, sir” the green clothed man said. When the pig was placed in the same room as the misty creature, something awing happened. The slimy like beast swallowed the pig whole. Nothing was left. Because of the translucency the fiend had; one would assume that the matter he had swallowed would be seen in his stomach; however, the pig was sent somewhere by the beast. Only Nosil knew where this pig was sent; he had planned on sending a handful of villagers to this place while the rest would be living underground during the attack of the village. The villagers that remained underground would be part of his plot to destroy his former beloved agency, the KOTL. Nosil knew that they would send someone looking for the last remaining Air Nomads. He lured the other agent inside of the cavern, putting Casrillian hints all over the place. Everything was falling right into place. The KOTL were soon going to be deceived by one of the old members. Operation Tango was Nosil’s plan for ending the KOTL and to get revenge for kicking him out.

New puppy
Hello blogger. Just got a new puppy. Named it Patches; Ironically, it does not have any. It is a retriever and pit bull mix. It looks more like a lab though. I really enjoy having an official dog. This is my first dog; all of my other dogs belonged to my younger sister and were very small, too small. I hope everything goes alright. I am a little bit unsatisfied by the way my crazy sister treats the dog. She has almost killed it twice already. She tried to feed it chocolate and then tried to get it to "bond" with a mother cat. If any readers out there do not know, do not have dogs and cats play around who are in the course of motherhood. Also all forms of chocolate are poisonous for dogs. Knowledge learned quick is sad. Bad is slick learned college not had.
